How it Works
Below you will see a link for the LSBC Memory Verse Program form. Print this form off and read the requirements and instructions listed at the top, fill it out, and bring it to registration day.
Students going into Grade 2 memorize the passages listed for Grade 2: Psalm 100:1-5 and Psalm 23:1-6. Students from Grade 3 to Grade 12 must learn the verses for each grade up to and including the one they are going into. If you are going into Grade 3, you memorize the passages listed for Grade 2 and for Grade 3. If you are going into Grade 4, memorize the verses listed for Grades 2, 3 and 4, etc. If you are going into Grade 12, you must memorize the verses listed for Grades 2 through 12. When memorizing, the reference for each verse is required as well.
The camper is required to recite, by memory, all the verses in each required Grade to a witness. A witness must be a Pastor, Sunday School Teacher, or LSBC Staff Member.
On registration day, bring the filled out form with you, or be prepared to recite the verses at camp to a staff member on registration day.
